my concerts list
Last year I had the chance to go to 3 Rock festivals and as the year was coming to its end I thought in making a list of all the bands I’ve ever seen live. I’m quite sure the list is not complete, but I cannot remember all of them, and if they are not worth to be remembered… maybe they were not worth to be on the list.
For some of the bands I’m giving my personal opinion about the band and or the concert.
• All shall perish
• Amorphis
• Anthrax – Only to witness the legend with my own eyes, only for once.
• Australian Pink Floyd Show – super concert! The song selection was great and the execution very good, the only problem was that they were not the original Pink Floyd, but very recommendable.
• Blind Guardian – All that you may expect from a band with its renown name,
• Bullet – Will see them again only as support band
• Café Tacuba
• Children of Bodom – Nice, enjoyable concert.
• Camel – It is a shame that the concert I saw was the bands Farewell because I will definitely like to see them again.
• Coda – I took my little brother to see them and ended enjoying the concert more than I thought I will.
• Dark Tranquility (x2) - one of my favorite bands and a very good concert will definitely see them again when I can. post
• Deep Purple (x2) – I’ve had seen them twice, and the second time I had a lot of fun on the concert, they have a very well earned place in the classics!!! post
• Def Leppard – Just because I know lots of people would kill to see him… I don’t know why.
• Dragon Force – Saw them in a festival and they are quite good, but don’t know if I’ll try hard to see them again.
• Dream Theater (x4) – Other of my favorite bands and the one I’ve seen most live, they are great in album and live, and will definitely try to see them again.
• Epica (x2) – Saw them during the festivals and may be good idea to see them again in a concert of their own. With the added value of seeing the very good looking singer.
• Eric Burdon – Nice if you are a classics fan.
• Evergrey
• G3 (satriani, vai, petrucci) – Too much guitars in so little time nice to see them one but don’t turn me crazy.
• Gamma Ray
• Gary Moore – Small concert with a couple of great songs, but I don’t know why he changed some of them, would have preferred listened to the original versions.
• God Forbid – A nice surprise, a concert that I really enjoyed a lot.
• Haggard - Saw them during the festivals and want to see them again in a concert of their own.
• Hammerfall – A nice “cheesy 80s metal” concert, fire and Lasers in the stage plus a lot of head banging in the crowd. post
• Ian Anderson – I am very glad I was able to see him play live, 100% recommendable. post
• Iron Maiden (x2) – They are within the best of the best, concerts with lots of energy, an excellent spectacle they are a Must for any Rock Fan.
• JBO – They say they love rock, so they should stop killing it. I don’t even know why they are invited to rock festivals.
• Jon Olivia's Pain – Nice concert, if you happen to see them in a festival.
• Killswitch Engage
• Korn – I almost forgot I saw them, nothing to remember neither good nor bad.
• Kreator
• Lacuna Coil (x2) – Also good to see them in a festival.
• Lamb of God – I might try to see them again in a concert by they own if it is not very far away.
• Limp Bizkit – Run for your lives, do your best to avoid them.
• Mago de Oz (x2) – Once of those concerts where one should go more for the sake of having fun tan for the music.
• Marillion – Very very very recommendable, see them if you may. Top quality!
post
• Marilyn Manson (x2) – The first time I saw him it was actually one of the worst concerts I’ve ever seen, and the second time even being a bit better was not enough to show me what the hell do people see on him…
• Mastodon
• Moonspell
• Motley Crue (x2) – They are not one of my favorite bands, but I cannot deny they know what they do on the stage. Nice concert if you like their music.
• Nightwish (x2) – Had the chance to see them before and after changing lead singer, and maybe witnessed the fall of a very good band, I just hope the new singer is able to catch up.
• Opeth (x3) – One of my favorite bands and they might be able to be even better on stage than on CD.post
• Porcupine Tree (x2) – Best of the best, 100% music quality, will definitely try to see them in the future as much as I can.post

Beethoven 9a Sinfonia

Bach

Ian Anderson - The Christmas Jethro Tull
